Job Description:
The Position
The main purpose of the Consultant is to develop consulting solutions as part of client engagements, to write proposals and support business development activities, to act as engagement manager on specific projects and to support Principals and Partners in their delivery.
You will begin to lead, manage, and own problem-solving efforts on a large portion of a client engagement or to lead on smaller engagements. Specifically, you will be responsible for identifying issues, forming hypotheses, designing and conducting analysis, and then synthesizing conclusions into recommendations. Throughout an engagement, you will be involved in discussions and presentations with senior client leadership.
Accountabilities:
- Liaise with clients to determine their requirements and either lead or support on delivering to them.
- Design a range of consulting solutions across service offerings to meet client needs throughout the consulting cycle, drawing on knowledge of the clientsβ needs, LC products and tools, own ideas and external best practice.
- Gather and analyse client data, drawing on a range of best practice problem solving skills to identify themes and insights.
- Prepare compelling reports, presentations and other client deliverables to achieve maximum client impact.
- Contribute to the writing of proposals, completion of tender documents and the mobilization of projects once won.
- Prepare project plans (in conjunction with a Project Co-ordinator of larger projects), report to clients on progress, track project effort against budget and input to the preparation of invoices.
- Lead projects under the guidance of a Principal Consultant or Partner.
- Plan and prioritize own work and ensure deadlines are met. Manage own workload to cope with peaks in demand ensuring all deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Contribute to thought leadership by supporting the development of products and tools and documenting methodologies.
- Working closely with Partners and Principals to: support the delivery of large scale projects, prepare for workshops, document workshop outputs, liaise with clients to organize logistics.
- Actively develop self to build own capability to support a broad range of consulting activity.

The Person
Qualifications & Experience
- Interest in people, organisations and behaviour.
- Undergraduate degree is required; Occupational/Organisational Psychology, MBA or other relevant graduate degree preferred.
- 5+ years of work experience in a business environment, with 3 years in a management or leadership consulting environment.
- Demonstrated ability to drive an efficient process throughout a project including setting and executing against deadlines.
- Highly numerate with excellent report writing skills.
- Highly proficient in PowerPoint and advanced Excel.
- Language skills as required.
- Willingness to travel locally and globally as required.
