The Role
Weâre hiring a Technical Recruiter to help us scale our Product and Engineering teams across the UK and EMEA. Heidi is growing quickly, and with that comes the opportunity to build truly exceptional engineering, product and AI teams. Weâre looking for someone who knows how to spot standout technical talent, engage them in a genuine way, and run thoughtful processes that lead to great hires. Youâll work closely with Product and Engineering leaders to shape teams with intention, raise the bar with every hire, and build hiring foundations that will support the next phase of our growth. This isnât a coordination role â itâs a highâownership position where your judgement, instincts and ability to build trust really matter. Weâre building AIânative products and ambient technology that are redefining how clinicians work. That means hiring engineers and product leaders who are comfortable operating at the edge of applied AI â people who think in systems, ship with care, and want to build technology with realâworld impact. What Youâll Do
- Own technical hiring endâtoâend: from role scoping, crafting clear JDs through to offer and close, ensuring a thoughtful, highâquality candidate experience throughout.
- Partner closely with hiring managers (particularly across Product, Engineering and AI) to lead earlyâstage interviews, filter applications and conduct technical screening calls across 15+ concurrent roles.
- Optimise the interview process to identify highâcalibre technical talent by building structured situational, behavioural and valuesâbased question banks â with additional rigour around technical signal.
- Support hiring managers in designing meaningful roleârelated tasks, coding challenges and takeâhomes that accurately assess realâworld capability.
- Activate headhunt mode when required for niche technical roles â proactively mapping competitor landscapes, identifying strong profiles and building pipelines across engineering, AI and product.
- Benchmark elite technical talent, helping hiring managers clearly distinguish good from exceptional and calibrate consistently across teams.
- Support the Head of People in implementing and evolving talent tools, processes and systems as we scale.
- Network, build and nurture relationships across the tech ecosystem â engineers, product managers, operators â building a highâcalibre technical talent pipeline.
- Elevate our employer brand in creative ways: representing Heidi across conferences, networking events, community meetups, blogs, socials, videos etc.
What We Will Look For
- Proven track record in internal Talent Acquisition, ideally within highâgrowth tech startups (Series AâC or similar), with clear experience hiring technical roles.
- Experience managing the hiring process endâtoâend from activating talent funnel, role scoping, CV screening, interviews to offer, acceptance and onboarding.
- Superâconnector, loves working with people, building rapport and nurturing relationships.
- Knowledge around hiring technical roles is important (product and engineering) â the rest can be learned.
- Comfortable with headhunting tactics and cold outreach when needed to build candidate pipeline against talent gaps.
- Speed, urgency and execution focus are essential â "get sh*t done" regardless of chaos and ambiguity.
- An eye for identifying highâcalibre talent and passion for building a highâperformance culture.
- Selfâstarter, highly motivated, competitive, driven by hitting numbers and developing deep relationships with empathy and commercial acumen.
- Ability to work autonomously with high levels of accountability to meet TA requirements and hiring goals.
