Today, more than two million patient visits each week are powered by Heidi across 116 countries and over 110 languages. Founded by clinicians, Heidi brings together clinicians, engineers, designers, scientists, creatives, and mathematicians, working with a shared purpose: to strengthen the human connection at the heart of healthcare. Backed by nearly $100 million in total funding, Heidi is expanding across the USA, UK, Canada and Europe, partnering with major health systems including the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, MaineGeneral and Monash Health.
The Role
We are looking for a Business Development Representative reporting to our Commercial Lead to join our UK GTM and sales team. You will adopt a productâled motion to manage the sales cycle from nurturing leads, to upselling and closing while being truly clinicianâobsessed. This role requires a proactive mindset, excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a highâgrowth startup environment. You will become an expert in engaging healthcare stakeholders, driving new opportunities and contributing directly to the sales pipeline.
What you'll do
- Manage the early sales lifecycle from lead generation, to nailing demos and uncovering opportunities within our existing product usage.
- Adopt a productâled sales motion focusing on nurturing and cultivation of bottomâup leads.
- Identify upsell opportunities and learn towards larger clinic groups and health systems with outbound and succinct followâup.
- Support and contribute to our UK Sales playbook, evaluating what works and what doesn't in your market to help achieve a winning formula.
- Collaborate with a broader sales team (US, AUS) in exchanging key learnings, ideas and information to improve ways of working and sales performance.
- Where relevant, represent Heidi across various online and offline channels (demos, conferences, networking events, etc.).
- Tailor our value proposition to align with the strategic goals of prospects with a solutionâselling approach, attending networking events to drive business development opportunities.
- Maintain a pipeline of target accounts and leads, tracking activity to ensure meeting and exceeding sales targets, with regular reporting to the Leadership team and other crossâfunctional teams.
- Develop a deep understanding of our product, the competitive landscape and the medical industry.
- Build an understanding of complex organisational structures in health, processes, who the key decisionâmakers are, and how to navigate key stakeholders.
What we will look for
- Proven track record in B2B/B2C sales with experience in hyperâgrowth SaaS.
- Experience in productâled sales motions and building playbooks is desirable.
- Highâperforming individual contributor whose superpower is cultivating and nurturing leads.
- Customerâobsessed, building amazing relationships with clinicians, clinics, health systems, hospitals and specialists through to close.
- Experience building a sales pipeline using data to support and CRM software such as HubSpot.
- Highly personable, problemâsolver with empathy and a solutionâbased approach to selling.
- Selfâstarter, highly motivated, competitive, driven by hitting numbers and developing deep relationships with commercial sales acumen.
- Ability to work autonomously with high levels of accountability to meet customer needs and sales targets.
- Someone who is compassionate, has a great sense of humour, a zest for life, is keen to accelerate their career in sales and have fun!
- Attitude is more important than experience so if you are a hungry, competitive and highly motivated operator who has a knack for problem solving and building relationships, we want to hear from you.
What we believe in
- Live Forever â Every release moves care forward: measured, safe and built to last. Data guides us but patients define the truth that matters.
- Practice Ownership â Decisions follow logic and proof, not hierarchy. Exceptional care demands exceptional standards in our work, our thinking, and our character.
- Small Cuts Heal Faster â Stability earns trust, speed delivers impact. Progress is about learning fast without breaking what people depend on.
- Make others better â Feedback is direct, kindness is constant, and excellence lifts everyone. Our success is measured by collective growth, not individual output.
Our mission is clear: expand the world's capacity to care and do it without losing the humanity that makes care worth delivering.
Why you will flourish with us
- Unmatched impact: the opportunity to fastâtrack your startup career and the rare chance to help shape and redefine what healthcare looks like.
- Real product momentum: we're not trying to generate interest, we're channeling it.
- Equity from day one: when Heidi wins, you win. You'll share directly in the success you help create.
- Work alongside worldâclass talent: learn from some of the best engineers and creatives, joining a diverse team.
- Growth and balance: enjoy a ÂŁ500 personal development budget, dedicated wellness days and your birthday off to recharge.
