Today, more than two million patient visits each week are powered by Heidi across 116 countries and over 110 languages. Founded by clinicians, Heidi brings together clinicians, engineers, designers, scientists, creatives, and mathematicians, working with a shared purpose: to strengthen the human connection at the heart of healthcare. Backed by nearly $100 million in total funding, Heidi is expanding across the USA, UK, Canada, and Europe, partnering with major health systems including the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, MaineGeneral, and Monash Health, among others. We move quickly where it matters and stay grounded in what’s proven, shaping healthcare’s next era.

The Role

Heidi is growing the world’s healthcare with AI. Our London studio is a creative node in a global product organisation - a place where brand storytelling, product thinking, and illustration meet to create distinctive digital experiences. We’ve recently expanded investment in design - and we’re looking for someone who brings craft, curiosity, and an artistic approach to digital brand work. We’re hiring a Brand Designer at an early-career level who will operate at the intersection of brand and product. This person will be the brand team’s in-house illustrator and visual designer for icons, abstract UI motifs, lifework visuals, and digital components that bring Heidi’s voice to life. You’ll collaborate closely with brand and product designers to ensure brand-led visual language works seamlessly inside real product experiences. This is an ideal role for someone with 1–3 years of experience or a strong recent graduate portfolio who wants a fast, supportive path to growing responsibility.

What you’ll do:

  • Create illustrated assets and visual components for web and product (icons, hero illustrations, abstract UI patterns, lifework art).
  • Act as a creative bridge between Brand and Product: translate brand concepts into component-friendly visual systems and support product execution in the brand team.
  • Support campaign and launch work with artwork, compositional explorations, and library-ready assets.
  • Work with senior designers to iterate on visual direction and help evolve our illustration and iconography systems for scale.
  • Experiment with 3D or mixed-media approaches when appropriate; 3D experience is a plus, not required.

What we will look for:

  • 1–3 years professional experience in graphic/brand/product design, or an outstanding graduate portfolio.
  • Strong illustration skills and an eye for composing visual ideas that can be translated into reusable components.
  • Experience designing for digital: Figma plus Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with motion tools (After Effects, Lottie) preferred.
  • An experimental mindset: you enjoy merging art and design to create distinct visual language.
  • Collaborative spirit: you’ll work across product, marketing, and engineering to ensure designs are feasible and effective.
  • Bonus: basic 3D or prototyping experience (Blender, Cinema 4D, Spline) — valuable for teams exploring richer visual textures.

How to Apply

Upload your portfolio (link preferred) and a short note about a recent project where you merged illustration, interface design and brand. Tell us what part of combining art and product excites you most.

What do we believe in?

  • Live Forever - Every release moves care forward: measured, safe, and built to last. Data guides us, but patients define the truth that matters.
  • Practice Ownership - Decisions follow logic and proof, not hierarchy. Exceptional care demands exceptional standards in our work, our thinking, and our character.
  • Small Cuts Heal Faster - Stability earns trust, speed delivers impact. Progress is about learning fast without breaking what people depend on.
  • Make others better - Feedback is direct, kindness is constant, and excellence lifts everyone. Our success is measured by collective growth, not individual output.

Our mission is clear: expand the world’s capacity to care, and do it without losing the humanity that makes care worth delivering.

Why you will flourish with us 🚀?

  • Real product momentum. We’re not trying to generate interest, we’re channeling it. Work on meaningful problems in healthcare with a fast-moving product team and access to interesting briefs across brand and product.
  • Equity from day one. When Heidi wins, you win. You’ll share directly in the success you help create.
  • Work alongside world-class talent. Learn from some of the best engineers and creatives, joining a diverse team.
