Our Client is mid-way through an exciting period of transition, resetting foundations, team building and preparing a solid platform for further international expansion through an M&A led growth strategy. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this new role is an important hire in the development of the Finance Team. The role will entail both management accounting for one UK business unit (Finance Lead) within the group alongside Financial Reporting & Business Partnering for the remaining three UK businesses. The role will support the Financial Controller to deliver monthly & annual financial reporting to agreed timeframes. Cost control and reporting of performance versus budget, contracted spend and budget headroom, alongside direction on potential mitigation action, will form an important part of the role – this is an area of development where value can be added through new or improved system design to support the Leadership Team.
