We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Merchandising & Operations Assistant to provide administrative support to our merchandising and operational functions. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in fashion, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with the merchandising and operations teams, you will play a key role in ensuring product availability, maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting sales analysis, and helping deliver a seamless operational process from product intake through to customer delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Create SKU’s and input any new supplier information onto the system.
- Support weekly and monthly sales reporting, analysing product performance and identifying trends.
- Manage wholesale order administration from order entry through to fulfilment.
- Coordinate stock allocations, deliveries, and inventory movements across channels.
- Liaise with suppliers, warehouses, and logistics partners to ensure timely and accurate order execution.
- Assist with purchase order tracking and delivery management.
- Support inventory reconciliations, stock counts, and issue resolution.
- Provide general administrative support as required.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in a merchandising, allocation, operations, or administrative role.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or fashion.
- Hands-on experience using Shopify, Zedonk, and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Understanding of retail KPIs, stock management, and sales reporting.
- Experience working with e-commerce platforms and fulfilment operations.
