The Role
We’re looking for a mid-weight Editor to join our creative team on a part-time basis, three days per week. You’ll play a central role in shaping emotional, authentic stories that highlight the experiences of clinicians, patients, and healthcare teams, showing how Heidi is transforming care and improving lives. Your primary focus will be post-production, but you’ll also support basic pre-production tasks when needed, helping the team stay organised, prepared, and aligned ahead of shoots. You’ll be involved in maintaining and refining post-production workflows, ensuring projects stay structured, efficient, and easy to collaborate on over the long run.
This role is ideal for someone who loves thoughtful storytelling, takes pride in well-organised projects, and enjoys being part of a small but fast-moving creative team.
What you’ll do:
- Edit testimonial, brand films, and product stories in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Help structure and organise projects, media, timelines, and shared folders
- Support basic pre-production tasks including asset prep, schedules, and story outlines
- Maintain and refine post-production workflows, naming conventions, and handover processes
- Perform basic colour grading in DaVinci Resolve
- Use After Effects for light graphics, titling, and simple motion elements
- Localise and adapt content for different markets and social platforms
- Prepare deliverables in multiple formats and aspect ratios
- Provide occasional support on set for small shoots when required
- Work closely with producers, creatives and marketing team members to help shape narrative direction and understand objectives and targets of the content.
- Contribute to a consistent emotional tone and visual language across all stories
What we will look for:
- Solid experience as an editor, ideally in brand storytelling and advertising.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with working knowledge of After Effects and DaVinci Resolve
- Strong storytelling instincts, with an eye for pacing, emotion, and clarity
- Excellent organisational skills and a collaborative approach to shared projects
- Understanding of social-platform formats and adapting content for multiple markets
- Ability to work independently across multiple projects while keeping communication clear
- Interest in refining internal workflows and contributing to creative processes
Nice to have:
- Experience assisting on small shoots
- Motion graphics skills beyond basic titles
- Experience in healthcare, tech, or human-centred storytelling
- Familiarity with multi-language/localisation workflows
- Comfort supporting basic pre-production tasks
What do we believe in?
- Heidi builds for the future of healthcare, not just the next quarter, and our goals are ambitious because the world’s health demands it.
- Live Forever - Every release moves care forward: measured, safe, and built to last. Data guides us, but patients define the truth that matters.
- Practice Ownership - Decisions follow logic and proof, not hierarchy. Exceptional care demands exceptional standards in our work, our thinking, and our character.
- Small Cuts Heal Faster - Stability earns trust, speed delivers impact. Progress is about learning fast without breaking what people depend on.
- Make others better - Feedback is direct, kindness is constant, and excellence lifts everyone. Our success is measured by collective growth, not individual output.
Our mission is clear: expand the world’s capacity to care, and do it without losing the humanity that makes care worth delivering.
Why you will flourish with us?
- Unmatched impact. The rare chance to help shape and redefine what healthcare looks like.
- Real product momentum. We’re not trying to generate interest, we’re channeling it.
- Equity from day one. When Heidi wins, you win. You’ll share directly in the success you help create.
- Work alongside world-class talent. Learn from some of the best engineers and creatives, joining a diverse team.
- Growth and balance. Enjoy a £500 personal development budget, dedicated wellness days, and your birthday off to recharge.
- Flexibility that works. A hybrid environment, with 3 days in the office.
Heidi’s commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Heidi is dedicated to creating an equitable, inclusive, and supportive work environment that brings people together from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Our strength is in our differences. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are proud to welcome all applicants as we’re committed to promoting a culture of opportunity for all.
