We're on the lookout for a proven leader to take the reins in this newly created role at our new high-output site to service the Waterloo Corner precast segment project. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, know concrete, and can lead from the front while managing people, production, and safety, we want to hear from you.
These positions will be paid at an hourly rate, and we anticipate yearly earnings to be at least 150K prior to tax.
What you’ll be doing:- Running batching and loading equipment with speed and precision
- Coordinate with the Project Manager and site teams to meet daily production targets
- Making smart decisions that directly impact plant performance and bottom-line results
- Leading safety by example through conversations, coaching, and a strong safety culture
- Optimising cycle times through the plant to keep things moving
- Overseeing maintenance and ensuring compliance with all company standards
- Conducting site meetings and contributing to operational discussions
- Building strong relationships with a tier 1 client
- Monitoring mixer performance and maintaining top-tier quality control
- A natural leader who motivates teams and consistently hits targets
- Solid understanding of concrete production processes and plant equipment
- Strong safety mindset with experience enforcing WHS protocols
- Confident communicator with great stakeholder management skills
- Practical problem-solver with a knack for planning ahead and troubleshooting on the fly
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a high-performing team
- Relevant tickets and qualifications (e.g., White Card, FEL, forklift license) are desirable
- Experience using Dorner batch control systems is highly desirable. Experience with wet batch plants is also beneficial

- 7/3 days/nights and 7/4 days/nights rotating roster
