Production Supervisor – Quarry Operations

Are you ready to take charge of a dynamic quarry and asphalt operation and drive performance, safety, and quality to the next level? Heidelberg Materials Aggregates is seeking a proactive and experienced Production Supervisor to support the Site Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance, and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

What You’ll Do

As Production Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of our on site operations, responsible for:

Health & Safety Leadership

  • Enforcing compliance with statutory legislation and company safety policies

  • Leading by example in safe working practices and PPE usage

  • Holding the statutory appointment under Section 8 (1)(d) of the Quarries Regulations 1999

  • Conducting daily inspections and supporting contractor safety management

  • Ensuring weekly geotechnical inspections are completed

Customer & Quality Focus

  • Ensuring materials meet specifications and customer expectations

  • Building strong relationships with customers and internal teams

  • Promoting the value of Heidelberg Materials through quality service and products

Operational Excellence

  • Supporting cost-effective purchasing and stock management

  • Assisting with profit estimations and operational reporting

  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and ensuring timely servicing

  • Fostering strong team communication and identifying training needs

  • Upholding site standards, housekeeping, and community relations
