Are you ready to take the lead in a dynamic Asphalt production environment where safety, quality, and operational excellence are top priorities? We’re looking for a Production Supervisor to join our Asphalt team at Tytherington. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring the safe and efficient running of daily operations, working closely with the Site Manager and wider team.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Health & Safety Leadership
- Champion a safety-first culture across all Asphalt operations
- Ensure full compliance with statutory legislation and company SHE policies
- Lead daily inspections and contractor safety checks
- Customer & Quality Focus
- Deliver high-quality materials that meet customer specifications
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams
- Promote Heidelberg Materials’ reputation for quality and reliability
- Operational & Team Management
- Support site purchasing and cost-effective resource management
- Assist in profit estimations, stock returns, and breakdown analysis
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure timely servicing
- Foster strong communication and teamwork across the site
- Identify training needs and support staff development
- Uphold site standards and community relations
