Purpose: The Heidelberg Materials (HM) International Business Service Centre (BSC) provides administrative, transactional, and accounting services to in‑scope HM companies. The Transformation Manager will reengineer end‑to‑end processes and systems to support the delivery of the Heidelberg Materials synergies and automation roadmap.
Key Accountabilities
- Transformation Expertise
- Develop a good understanding of in‑scope processes and systems, including how they operate today and how they can be improved to support business needs.
- Apply end‑to‑end, journey‑based thinking to help teams understand how activities connect and where improvements can be made.
- Use awareness of in‑country working practices to identify opportunities to reduce complexity and remove unnecessary hand‑offs across processes.
- Understand how people, process, data, and technology interact, ensuring proposed changes are workable, sustainable, and scalable.
- End‑to‑End Process Redesign & Transformation Delivery
- Contribute to the design and delivery of transformation initiatives, working with the Head of Transformation, Senior Transformation Manager, Global Process Owners, and business teams.
- Use agreed transformation and service‑design approaches to support process redesign and move beyond small, isolated improvements.
- Collaborate with Global Process and Digital teams to identify and assess opportunities for AI‑enabled and emerging technologies, supporting the development of clear, value‑focused plans.
- Help challenge existing ways of working constructively, supporting teams to move toward simpler and more effective processes.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Change Enablement
- Work as a transformation partner across the BSC, Digital, and wider Group, supporting collaboration and shared ownership of change.
- Engage with a range of stakeholders, including project and product teams, to support alignment with agreed future‑state designs.
- Support teams through change using facilitation, coaching techniques, and structured problem‑solving, helping maintain momentum.
- Assist in tracking progress and outcomes for transformation initiatives, adapting to changing priorities where required.

- Support and promote transformation ways of working, encouraging curiosity, learning, and evidence‑based decision‑making.
