An opportunity has arisen at Heidelberg Materials Dagenham for a Weighbridge clerk, working 24 hours per week, Friday to Sunday.
Key Accountabilities:
- Work in a safe manner to ensure the Health and Safety of yourself and others.
- Comply with and be actively involved in MQP’s SHE and Quality Policies and Procedures.
- Maintain close and effective communication with transport, sales, technical and production departments.
- Carry out daily Safety, Environmental and maintenance checks, and document accordingly.
- Work with site team to plan production schedules to suit sales plan.
- Enter and dispatch vehicles onsite, recording the appropriate information.
- Comply with the Company Administration Procedures E.g., Cash Sales Procedures.
- Liaise with immediate Supervisor and other team members.
- Maintain product dispatch schedules where possible.
- Flexibility to cover other roles, within the job holder’s capabilities, as defined by the Asphalt Manager and/or Supervisor.
- Maintain stock levels, including imported materials, reporting any delivery issues that may affect production to the Asphalt Manager and/or supervisor.
- Continually monitor and amend processes to achieve quality standards, advising risk areas immediately.
- Carry out Risk Assessments and Method Statements with Shift Supervisor/Colleagues.
- Carry out administrative duties as deemed necessary by manager and within reasonable capabilities.
- General housekeeping.
Experience: Must be computer literate and have very good people skills; all other training will be provided.

Saturday / Sunday – 7am - 12pm
