We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Apprentice to join our expert engineering team at Ketton Cement Plant – one of the UK’s top cement producers.

Your Apprenticeship Journey (42–48 months)

You’ll split your time between college and on-site training, gaining:

  • Level 2 & 3 Diplomas in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (College)
  • Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (In-Company)
  • Specialist skills in:
  • Mechanical systems maintenance
  • Fluid & pneumatic power
  • Electrical & process control equipment
  • Fault diagnosis, testing & commissioning

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting maintenance and repairs on plant equipment
  • Learning from experienced engineers in a real manufacturing environment
  • Rotating through different departments to understand the full cement-making process
  • Contributing ideas to improve processes and safety

What We’re Looking For

  • 5 GCSEs (Grades 9–4) including Maths, English & Science
  • A team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for engineering and a hands-on approach
