We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Apprentice to join our expert engineering team at Ketton Cement Plant – one of the UK’s top cement producers.

Your Apprenticeship Journey (42–48 months)
You’ll split your time between college and on-site training, gaining:
- Level 2 & 3 Diplomas in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (College)
- Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (In-Company)
- Specialist skills in:
- Mechanical systems maintenance
- Fluid & pneumatic power
- Electrical & process control equipment
- Fault diagnosis, testing & commissioning
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting maintenance and repairs on plant equipment
- Learning from experienced engineers in a real manufacturing environment
- Rotating through different departments to understand the full cement-making process
- Contributing ideas to improve processes and safety

- 5 GCSEs (Grades 9–4) including Maths, English & Science
