What You’ll Be Doing
- Promote and increase the safe, compliant, and cost-effective procurement of site excavation waste (muck away) across key infrastructure, commercial, and residential projects.
- Maximise opportunities for recycling, landfill diversion, and resource recovery within muck away operations.
- Engage Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) processes to provide efficient and sustainable muck away solutions that align with client and project needs.
- Provide clients, customers, and commercial staff with in‑depth regulatory and technical support regarding waste classification, compliance, and disposal options.
- Review pre‑contract and tender documentation to confirm appropriate waste disposal routes, classification, and pricing strategy.
- Challenge specifications and advise on alternative disposal or recycling routes to create value engineering opportunities.
- Work closely with site and transport teams to maintain full compliance with waste transfer notes, tipping records, and regulatory standards.
- Manage and reduce customer complaints through clear service delivery and compliance with duty‑of‑care responsibilities.
- Support the wider Sales is a Science strategy by creating visibility around muck away capabilities, efficiency, and environmental performance while driving market expansion.
