Purpose Of The Role The Heidelberg Materials (HM) International Business Service Centre (BSC) provides administrative, transactional, and accounting services to in-scope HM companies. Key Responsibilities Develop deep knowledge of relevant accounting standards and ERP systems. Investigate complex transactions, propose solutions, and provide root cause analysis. Oversee monthly accounting processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Manage journals and invoice uploads into ERP systems. Own GRIR management for all in-scope countries. Sign off on balance sheet reconciliations, identify risks, and coordinate their resolution. People & Performance Management Recruit, develop, and retain a skilled team. Monitor team and individual performance using data, and make proactive adjustments. Customer Service & Compliance Manage relationships with international managers. Ensure governance meetings are professional and escalations are responded to promptly. Comply with all company policies, health & safety legislation, and HR procedures. Qualifications Qualified accountant or trainee with minimal exams remaining, or demonstrate equivalent technical knowledge and experience. Additional Information In addition to core duties, perform other duties as reasonably required.
