Salary up to £50,759

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Packaging Plant Operative to join our cement team at Ketton. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our packing dock, supplying high‑quality packed products to the commercial division. You will also support wider site operations as required, depending on your training and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate packing dock equipment to meet planned output volumes safely, on time, and in full.
  • Carry out front‑line maintenance within your area of training and maintain high housekeeping standards.
  • Assist with the loading of finished products and the unloading of incoming materials required for plant operations, including dispatch silos.
  • Work alternative shift patterns in line with the national agreement and provide support across other areas of the plant when needed.

  • A solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental responsibilities related to the role.
  • A positive attitude toward learning and development to support all packing dock activities.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
