Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.Heidelberg Materials has a current job opening for a Ready-Mix Driver primarily located at our Sheffield Plant Located in Ottawa Ontario.**What You\’ll Be Doing*** Safely operate manual and automatic commercial vehicles to deliver ready mix concrete.* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.* Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with dispatch.* Ensure proper handling and placement of concrete at job sites.* Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.**What Are We Looking For*** Valid, unrestricted, commercial driver\’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.* Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.* Strong communication and customer service skills.* Capability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects.* Commitment to safety and attention to detail.**Work Environment*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.**What We Offer*** $30.91 per hourHeidelberg Materials welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
