Plant Supervisor – Heidelberg Materials, Whatley

This is your chance to step into a key role in the construction materials industry with full support and training. We\’re looking for a Plant Supervisor to join our team at Heidelberg Materials in Whatley. We will teach you everything you need to know about concrete production and plant operations.

Hours: 45 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the concrete plant
  • Use computer systems to batch and dispatch concrete
  • Communicate with customers and coordinate deliveries
  • Supervise contractors and hauliers on-site
  • Carry out routine maintenance and inspections
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented site
  • Operate the batching plant according to company standards and improve site presentation
  • Accurately batch concrete/mortar following procedures
  • Ensure the plant is stocked with approved materials at all times
  • Visually check stocks weekly and verify monthly
  • Record actions during routine maintenance and inspections
