Plant Supervisor – Heidelberg Materials, Whatley
This is your chance to step into a key role in the construction materials industry with full support and training. We\’re looking for a Plant Supervisor to join our team at Heidelberg Materials in Whatley. We will teach you everything you need to know about concrete production and plant operations.
Hours: 45 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the concrete plant
- Use computer systems to batch and dispatch concrete
- Communicate with customers and coordinate deliveries
- Supervise contractors and hauliers on-site
- Carry out routine maintenance and inspections
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented site
- Operate the batching plant according to company standards and improve site presentation
- Accurately batch concrete/mortar following procedures
- Ensure the plant is stocked with approved materials at all times
- Visually check stocks weekly and verify monthly
- Record actions during routine maintenance and inspections
