Sharp reaction speeds, confident communication and attention to detail are key to success.

You’ll gain hands-on experience at the heart of elite football operations, working with cutting-edge replay technology in a live broadcast environment seen by millions worldwide. While this is a casual contract, we are seeking candidates with full availability across the week. This role is designed for those looking to commit to significant hours, particularly during peak periods of the football calendar.

Availability and Training Commitment

Please Note: While this is a casual contract, matches take place strictly in accordance with the live football calendar. Candidates must be able to prioritise weekend availability to support live match operations. • Video Feed Management: Maintain and monitor all incoming broadcast camera feeds to ensure high-quality, real-time video is available throughout the match.
  • Support for VAR & Replay Operator: Provide immediate access to the most relevant camera angles upon request, ensuring clear and efficient review for the VAR team.
  • Matchday Preparation: Assist in setup, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of all VAR-related hardware and software before kickoff.
  • System Operation & Monitoring: Operate specialised replay technology (Hawk-Eye SMART Replay), checking all systems before and during matches to ensure reliability.
  • Archiving & Incident Logging: Efficiently capture, label, and archive key match incidents—such as goals, penalties, offsides, and potential red cards—ensuring all clips are accurately logged, timestamped, and organised for quick retrieval and post-match review.

Depending on your role and level of experience, your responsibilities may include:

  • VARDict Graphics Delivery: Delivering real-time graphics and data to stadium screens, broadcasters and communicating VAR decisions clearly to fans and partners during live matches.
  • Stockley Park Support: Liaising with officials, broadcasters, and stadium staff remotely. Supporting data accuracy and maintaining high operational standards. Conducting pre-match checks and ensuring all systems are ready to go. Troubleshooting any technical issues quickly and calmly.

Essential Attributes:

This is a highly visible and high-pressure role. We’re looking for individuals who are reliable, professional, and passionate about football, and who meet the following essential criteria:

  • Must live within a commutable distance to Stockley Park
  • Must be available to work weekends and some midweek evenings
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a live broadcast environment
  • Strong football knowledge and understanding of the Laws of the Game
  • A high level of professionalism – you'll be working in a client-facing role
  • Excellent communication skills and a calm, solutions-focused attitude
  • A solid technical foundation and quick to learn new systems
  • Excellent hand–eye coordination and reaction speed, with skills commonly developed through video gaming or fast-paced interactive environments
  • Ability to process visual information rapidly, select the correct camera angles, and execute precise actions in time-critical moments
  • Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented
