We’ve grown, staying true to our core value of being a local firm. As a result of continuing growth we are expanding our Litigation team by recruiting an experienced Solicitor to join our team in Peterborough.
The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of Civil and Commercial Litigation Law and ideally have at least 5 years PQE. You will be capable of working both independently and as part of the team. You will have experience of leading your own transactions. You will need excellent management, communication and organisational skills, proficiency in IT, and have a polite and professional manner.
You will be joining a modern and dynamic team that fully supports each and every individual, ensuring that everyone has a great work life balance.
Key Responsibilities:- Acting for individual clients both bringing and defending claims across a range of commercial property disputes, breach of contract claims, housing disputes, shareholder and director disputes and contentious trusts and probate issues such as I(PFD)A claims, Will challenges in areas such as capacity and lack of knowledge, trust disputes, executor and trustee issues, construction and rectification, proprietary estoppel, court of protections and care fee disputes.
- 5 years PQE with good technical knowledge.
- Strong communication skills, able to understand the client’s objectives and explain options in an accessible manner.
- Personable and confident, able to build relationships at all levels.
- Skilled networker with good commercial awareness.
- Highly organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
