Hegarty, one of the region’s leading law firms, are recruiting an enthusiastic and service focused Client Onboarding and Compliance Co‑ordinator to join our compliance team. In this role you’d be responsible for co‑ordinating the client on‑boarding, file opening and compliance function across the firm. This role could be either full time or a part time job share. Ideally it will be based at our Peterborough office, but other office locations will be considered after a period of training at Peterborough.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding the specialisms of each member of the firm’s fee earning staff and their current workload and capacity.
- Taking new client enquiries in respect of the Trusts and Probate department, ascertaining the nature of their enquiry, taking sufficient details to complete the client on boarding ID process, creating an entity on the case management system, storing the ID and Sanctions information correctly on the system.
- Booking an appointment for the client with the relevant fee earner or providing details of the enquiry and the entity details ready for a matter to be opened by the relevant department.
- Obtain updated ID for existing clients where ID has expired.
- Review and progress any enquiries that are received through the firm’s website. The process will vary depending on the department and matter type.
