When guests enter one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Nights Guest Services Supervisor, you will be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights, and anticipate every detail of a friction-free experience, while also creating a warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location.
This is a multi-site role for Heeton Concept Aparthotel Edinburgh Queen Street and Stewart Aparthotel by Heeton Concept. Located less than a two-minute walk from each other, these hotels offer our guests a home away from home.
Your day-to-day:
- Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience.
- Manage administrative duties diligently, such as night audit and banking reconciliations.
- Take and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities, and inform them about ways to improve their stay.
- Handle cash and credit transactions.
- Ensure the highest safety and compliance standards are upheld through the night shift.
- Stay one step ahead of guests' needs, record and act on their preferences, and handle their messages, requests, questions, and concerns.
- Be a trusted contact for all guests, assisting with anything from bill issues to local knowledge, and loop in management when necessary.
- Report all incidents and wear any protective gear needed, following safety procedures.
- Take pride in your appearance and act as a brand ambassador.
- Always know what events and activities are on the day's schedule.
- Assist with other ad-hoc duties when colleagues need help.
