Fabricator/Welder Temp to perm Location: Leicester Day shift Hourly: – £20.13ph after 8 hours rises to £30.20ph Saturday: £30.20ph, Sunday: £40.26ph About the position H & B Recruitment are working with an established client seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join their team. This role involves working on fabrication and welding projects both in Leicester workshop and at client sites, primarily food manufacturing facilities The position requires flexibility, as there will be travel and overnight stays for site projects. As a Fabricator/Welder you will be responsible for: * Perform fabrication and welding tasks in the workshop and on-site, using various welding techniques (MIG & TIG to construct, repair, or modify metal structures, machinery, and components. * Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure accurate welding and fabrication. * Produce high-quality welds and fabrication work, adhering to industry standards and client requirements. * Work on a variety of materials, particularly stainless steel, mild steel, and other metals used in food manufacturing environments. Essential Skills: Fabricator/Welder * Proven experience in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques. * Solid background in metal fabrication, including experience with a range of materials such as mild steel, stainless steel, and other metals. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints for fabrication work. * Understanding of HSE regulations and the ability to follow RAMS and safety procedures. * Experience working in a workshop environment with fabrication and welding equipment.
