About the Position:

H & B Recruitment are working with a well-known client who is Northeast based looking for a Design Engineer (Electrical).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and validation of electrical panels and control systems for purifiers, manifold and vacuum system.
  • Selection of pressure and temperature sensors and switches.
  • The maintenance and continuous improvement of existing product with electrical control systems.
  • To participate in projects when required, providing competent Engineering support on electrical.
  • The production and maintenance of technical documentation, including CAD drawings, BOM, technical files, design calculations, technical specifications, test data, etc.
  • Continuous interrogation of product and components to identify and implement cost savings.
  • Product approvals and all mandatory legislation compliance, such as EMC and low voltage safety.

Professional Requirements:

  • As an experienced Electrical Design Engineer, you will be technically strong and will ideally have a relevant bachelor’s degree (with an Electrical bias).
  • At least 3 years in similar Engineering design role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong abilities in detail design and problem-solving techniques.
  • Strong CAD background and being able to populate the circuit diagram with AutoCAD.
  • Proficient MS Office User (particularly Word, Excel and MS Project).
  • Experienced in technical report writing, such as technical specifications and verification report.
  • Ability to communicate and deliver technical information at all levels, both internally and supplier facing.
