This client specialises in site investigations, within the geotechnical and environmental spaces and have done for over 50 years. Due to continued growth and expansion they now need to add an experienced site engineer to their team in the Glasgow office. The Role of Site Engineer

The role includes assisting and implementing the organisation of projects in the field as well as the office, providing input as directed into the planning aspects to the project. Accountable for field-based logistics including ensuring that the project specification is followed, correct equipment is used and maintained on site and correct health and safety procedures are followed. Guidance on specific requirements will be given during the employee induction.

The Site Engineer is expected to ensure that all technical and site work is carried out to a high standard, safely, on time and within budget. Key division of time spent on each part of the job will be set on an annual basis and reviewed regularly. Execution of ground investigations. Contract management on site to including delivery of projects on time and to maximize profits from each contract. Maintain an effective line of communication between site and the office. Work with Project Managers and Line Managers to develop personal objectives.
