About the role: Air Conditioning Engineer
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of HVAC systems across residential, commercial, industrial, and modular buildings. Key Responsibilities:Air Conditioning Engineer

  • Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems (split systems, VRV/VRF, AHUs).

  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive service callouts.

  • Diagnose faults and perform repairs on refrigeration units, including chillers, cold rooms, ice machines, and display cabinets.

  • Handle refrigerant recovery, gas charging, and commissioning of new installations.

  • Perform electrical fault finding, brazing, and compressor/component replacement.

  • Ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations and Health & Safety standards.

  • Liaise with customers in a professional manner and support junior technicians as required.

What We\’re Looking For:Air Conditioning Engineer

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning / City & Guilds equivalent.

  • F-Gas Category 1 certification (essential).

  • Proven experience working with commercial and industrial A/C and refrigeration systems.

  • Excellent fault diagnosis and repair skills.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Full UK driving licence with a clean record.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with great communication skills.
