Multi-Skilled Painter & Decorator
to join our Maintenance Team. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality painting, decorating and general maintenance services across our residents' homes, helping to create safe, well-maintained living environments. In this role you'll use your expertise to carry out a range of repairs, provide excellent customer service, and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard. If you're a qualified painter and decorator with additional multi-trade skills, a proactive approach, and a passion for making a positive difference for customers, we'd love to hear from you. *A full UK driving licence is essential to the role Specifically, in the role you will: Deliver high-quality painting and decorating services across residential properties, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to required standards. Undertake a range of multi-skilled maintenance tasks where required, including basic carpentry, plumbing, tiling, and plastering to support overall property repairs. Carry out all work in line with manufacturer instructions, industry best practice, and current regulations. Inspect works, identify defects, and implement practical solutions to maintenance issues. Plan and organise work schedules, interpreting verbal and written instructions to meet service delivery targets. Estimate, order, and manage materials and stock effectively to ensure efficient service delivery. Accurately record work activities, time, materials, and job progress using electronic/mobile systems, including maintaining records, risk assessments, and compliance documentation. Operate and maintain allocated vehicles responsibly, including conducting daily safety checks and ensuring safe and courteous use. Ensure safe use, handling, and storage of tools, equipment, and materials, reporting defects as required. Work in full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, GDPR, equality and diversity standards, and all company policies and procedures. Deliver excellent customer service by engaging professionally with residents, responding to requests, resolving issues, and using feedback to improve services. Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, residents, contractors, and external partners to support a collaborative 'one team' approach. Mentor, coach, and support apprentices and colleagues as required. Maintain accurate records and contribute to organisational objectives, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
