Vacancy: Independent Living Coordinator (35hrs) Closing date: Wednesday 21 October Shortlisting: Thursday 22 October Proposed Interview date: Thursday 29 October Salary: £35,805.01 About the vacancy: We're looking for a compassionate and proactive Independent Living Co-ordinator to deliver high-quality housing management and support services within our Extra Care scheme. In this role you'll work closely with residents, colleagues and external partners to help individuals maintain their independence, sustain their tenancies, and feel part of a vibrant community. The role involves managing lettings, supporting residents' wellbeing, responding to day-to-day issues, and ensuring a safe, inclusive and well-run living environment. This role will based at Ty Cae Nant extra care scheme in Cwmbran. *A full UK Driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role Specifically, in the role you will: Responsible for letting empty homes at the scheme by participating in meetings of the multi-agency Extra Care Allocations Panel to consider and prioritise referrals, maintain a waiting list and allocate homes. Actively contributing to the allocations process to ensure a balance of need to create a vibrant scheme Showing prospective residents around the scheme and completing pre-Occupation Contract procedures Managing empty homes at the scheme including end of Occupation Contract arrangements and liaising with Hedyn`s Property
