About the vacancy:

As our new People Project Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Hedyn's People function. Leading key workstreams across Reward, People Systems, and organisational reshaping, you'll ensure meaningful change is delivered effectively and with strong stakeholder engagement. You'll be the central HR voice within the Hedyn Project team - driving progress, supporting colleagues, managing risks, and keeping our organisation informed and engaged.

This role is perfect for a strategic, collaborative People professional with strong project management expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to lead, influence, and motivate others. If you thrive in a fast-moving environment and love making a tangible difference to employee experience and organisational development, we'd love to hear from you.

We're seeking someone who is:

  • Confident operating across multiple HR disciplines, from employee relations and performance to change, talent attraction, system development, reward and much more.
  • Comfortable navigating competing demands with sound judgement and a solution-focused mindset.
  • Experienced in contributing to the strategic direction of the team as well as operational delivery.
  • Able to build strong relationships at all levels and work closely with colleagues throughout Hedyn to drive positive outcomes.
  • Passionate about modern, progressive HR practice and eager to contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Energised by change - helping to shape it, support it, and bring others with you.

If you're a versatile HR professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to make a meaningful impact, we'd love to hear from you.

The role will work closely with colleagues in the People Team as well as with Hedyn's Project Management Team. This is not a project management role, rather it is best described as a Senior HR Practitioner role with a focus on project delivery. PM support will be provided by our in-house team and this role will be the lead HR resource across a wide range of projects and workstreams. Projects will be delivered on time and within budget and we will ensure that our colleagues grow as a result of their involvement in the work.

Specifically, in the role you will:

  • Collaborate with the Hedyn Project team, and the People team, to deliver an existing project plan focusing primarily on the areas of: Reward; Systems; and the Reshaping of Hedyn teams.
  • Operate in a pivotal role on the Hedyn Project team, acting as the primary HR representative.
  • Collaborate with the Head of People Solutions and the Hedyn Project Manager to ensure that people remain engaged in the workstreams.
  • Support the Project Manager to assign tasks and roles based on strengths and capacity.
  • Serve as the main point of communication, providing status updates to the People Leadership team and to the wider organisation.
  • Identify potential risks, develop mitigation plans, and manage issues as they arise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Be flexible to take on additional responsibilities that are in keeping with a role of this level and an organisation at Hedyn's stage of development.

Application Process:

  • We require an application form to be completed for every role.
