We are looking to hire a Multi Skilled Wet Trader to support the Maintenance team. In this role you will be responsible for repairing and improving homes by completing plastering, tiling, flooring, and other wet-trade tasks, plus some basic plumbing and carpentry, while delivering a safe, professional, and customer-focused service.
Please be aware that a full UK driving licence is required for this role.
- Undertake Wet Trade work including plastering, floor-tiling, vinyl floor laying, screeding, brickwork, blockwork, glazed tiling, patch roof work, guttering, drainage, and other associated tasks.
- Undertake multi-skilled ancillary tasks associated with the primary role objective, where and when required.
- Working with copper pipework and plastic solvent weld waste and undertaking safe isolation of water.
- Sheet flooring e.g., laying non-slip safety flooring and cap and cove.
- Asbestos removal (take up, bag, tag for collection) and painting and decorating.
To always work in a safe and appropriate manner to meet the duties and responsibilities within the Health and Safety policies and procedures of the association.
