About Us

We are a well established plumbing and heating company based in Eastbourne looking for an experienced engineer to join our team. The majority of our work is carried out throughout Eastbourne, Hastings, Brighton and the surrounding areas.

Role Overview

This position is focused mainly on installation work, including bathrooms, boilers, and full heating systems, with some servicing and repair work occasionally required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation Work (Primary Focus)
  • Complete bathroom installations, including first fix, second fix, and finishing
  • Install a range of gas boilers (combi, system, and regular)
  • Carry out full heating and hot water system installations in domestic properties
  • Replace radiators, upgrade systems, and complete pipework alterations
  • Undertake general plumbing installation tasks to a high standard
  • Servicing & Repairs (Occasional)
    • Perform boiler services and essential safety checks
    • Diagnose and resolve boiler and heating issues when required
    • Service and repair unvented and vented hot water cylinders
    • Carry out general plumbing maintenance and fault finding

    Additional Skills & Knowledge

    • Basic electrical understanding (boiler wiring, controls, wiring centres)
    • Good grasp of heating controls and smart thermostat technology
    • Ability to work independently and deliver consistently high workmanship
    • Strong communication and customer service skills
    • Confident in completing accurate job notes and documentation

    As part of the role, engineers participate in our emergency out-of-hours on-call rota, typically one week in every six. Additional pay is provided for on-call cover as well as any callouts attended during this period.

    Requirements

    • Gas Safe registered / Gas-qualified (essential)
    • Proven experience in plumbing, heating, and installation work
    • Competent in bathroom installations and domestic plumbing tasks
    • Full UK driving licence
    • Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
