We are looking to appoint a caring considerate, enthusiastic, well-motivated Teaching Assistant to join our talented team.
Good Maths and English GCSE results desired.
Previous TA experience preferred but training will be given if necessary.
A professional approach is essential.

The role will involve working with a range of students in Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 in the classroom, small groups and 1:1 in a variety of subject areas.
- Key Tasks
- Helping students to learn as effectively as possible both in group situations and individually.
- Establishing a positive working relationship with students.
- Championing the inclusion of students with special needs.
- Promoting the students’ self esteem.
- Encouraging independence and self reliance in the students.
- Support and implement the strategies outlined on the students’ EHCP’s and One Plans.
- To support the teachers to meet students’ special needs
- Liaising with staff where possible.
- Providing feedback to staff on successes and difficulties students may be experiencing.
- To support subject teams
- Providing oversight and continuity for those students with SEN within the link subject.
- Liaising with Heads of Year Groups and Subject Leaders as necessary.
- To support the SENCO
- Providing information on the progress of identified students.
- To oversee the gathering of information on the named students with statements.
- Professional Development
- Contributing fully to the performance management arrangements.
- Identifying personal professional needs within the context of the role held.
- Sharing and contributing insights and expertise in staff meetings and with the line manager.
