JOB TITLE: Front of House Chipping Norton LOCATION: Chipping Norton SALARY: £25,000 HOURS OF WORK: 35 hours a week (Monday to Friday) ACCOUNTABILITY: Head of Operations and Finance EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Permanent contract MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: The role is to be the face of the company for clients and staff and is a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and professional operation of our office. You will be at the forefront of the office in Chipping Norton, welcoming clients and dealing with their initial enquiries in a friendly, professional manner and in accordance with the company values. This role is one of the first touch points for prospects and has the opportunity to set the tone for the Hedges’ ‘advice for life’ journey and sales cycle that follows. Our core values are ‘surprising and delighting’ and ‘making it happen’ for our prospects, clients and colleagues. You will also be assisting with the effective running of the office operations and facilities. ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS * Strong and engaging communication skills, both verbal and written * Commercial awareness * Self-motivated with a results-driven approach * Fast learner and passion for sales * Ability to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently * Previous customer service/sales experience and use of CRM preferable * Comfortable with tech and innovation to drive improved service delivery * Would suit someone with experience of legal/professional services * Highly organised * Team Player and personable KEY TASKS * To be the first point of contact for any new clients walking into reception and dealing with their initial enquiries. * Assist in keeping the office well run, organised and ensuring the office is clean and tidy and reception stocked with literature. * Ensuring the meeting room is clear and ready to receive clients/visitors – table clean, water refreshed, clean glasses, etc. * That kitchen and bathroom facilities are well stocked. * Receiving, sorting and scanning of post / hand deliveries to the teams. * Franking post at the end of the day. * Maintaining and updating funds on the franking machine. * To deal, where appropriate, with confidentiality and discretion in matters relating to work. * Arrange maintenance and renovations, as required. * Ordering stationery and other office supplies, in accordance with budget, liaising with the Head of Operations & Finance. * Liaise with suppliers for utilities, office supplies / equipment, cleaners, sanitary facilities, etc. * Liaise with security companies regarding fire and security alarms / door panels and arranging repairs when required. * Assisting the Head of Operations & Finance with other tasks relating to facilities and operations. * Supporting and assisting the legal teams with administrative tasks. * Delivering high client care. * Living our values. * To undertake any other duties, as may be required, in relation to the general running of the office.
