We are hiring a Head of Private Wealth Solicitor at Hedges Law. This senior role will lead high‑net‑worth private client services and shape the future of our private wealth practice.

Base Salary: up to £120,000 plus performance-based bonus, profit share and a range of benefits including company EV vehicle, pension scheme, salary sacrifice and extensive personal development support.

About the role:

  • Lead and grow a dedicated team of attorneys serving UK high‑net‑worth individuals and families.
  • Provide expert legal advice on wills, trusts, succession planning, estate and probate matters.
  • Develop and implement client‑focused service delivery models.
  • Mentor and support junior solicitors and associate holders.
  • Represent Hedges Law at industry events, networking and business development opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high‑quality legal services with outstanding client care.
  • Draft complex wills, trusts and administer trusts and courts of protection matters.
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients on succession and inheritance issues.
  • Co‑ordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Continuously improve processes and integrate new technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified solicitor with significant private‑wealth experience.
  • Strong client‑management and advisory skills.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Leadership experience or strong potential to step into a leadership role.
  • Tech‑savvy, keen to adopt a paperless, digital working environment.
  • STEP qualification highly desirable (supported for development).
  • Willingness to travel within 60 min of our offices in Oxford, Wallingford, Chipping Norton.
