A specialist real estate investment and development platform focused on the Living Sector across the UK and Europe is in the market for a Management Accountant to join the team. The business partners with institutional capital to deploy investment into high-demand residential asset classes, with particular expertise across student accommodation, build-to-rent and co-living. Its approach is data-led and sustainability-focused, combining market intelligence, operational expertise and ESG integration to deliver resilient, risk-adjusted returns. The firm offers a fully integrated model spanning investment, development and operations, enabling it to create value throughout the asset lifecycle. It works across a range of strategies including core/core-plus, value-add and joint venture structures, and has built a track record of delivering large-scale living sector projects in key European markets.

As the Management Accountant you would be responsible for:

  • Preparation of management accounts (including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow).
  • Providing variance analysis between actuals and budget, providing commentary on key variances.
  • Supporting in the preparation of group and project budgets, working closely with senior stakeholders to understand key revenue drivers and costs.
  • Preparation of year end financial statements, acting as a key point of contact for auditors.
  • Supporting in forecasting business cash flows.
  • Streamlining internal processes to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.
  • Business partnering with development and asset management teams, to provide ad-hoc analysis on business performance.
  • Management of third party service providers.

Key Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified.
  • Real Estate experience is an advantage.
  • Proactive approach to work and ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience with accounts preparation is an advantage.
  • Available on short notice (ideally less than one month).
