FP&A Manager – Stockport (Perm Role – Immediate start / short notice period)

The Role

As FP&A Manager, you\’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting that influences senior stakeholders and supports the business in achieving its growth ambitions. You\’ll be working closely with commercial and operational leaders, providing clear, data-driven insight that adds real value.

What You\’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning process.
  • Preparing insightful monthly management reports with variance and trend analysis.
  • Partnering with senior leadership to provide commercial finance support and recommendations.
  • Developing and maintaining robust financial models to support decision-making.
  • Driving continuous improvement in reporting and FP&A processes.
  • Enhancing reporting capability using Power BI and other analytical tools.

What We\’re Looking For

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong FP&A / commercial finance experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills
    – confident in building and manipulating complex models.
  • Power BI expertise
    – able to turn data into impactful visual insights.
  • SQL coding skills (desirable) to extract and manipulate data from multiple sources.
  • A confident communicator who can partner with stakeholders and present findings clearly.
  • Commercially minded, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
