We are currently looking for a Room lead for the Pre-school to join a beautiful setting in Reigate. The setting has amazing resources and a friendly and supportive team. We are a friendly nursery with a warm and welcoming team. You will be leading a friendly team of staff in our dedicated pre-school unit for children from 3-4 years. We offer excellent career opportunities for the right candidates.
The role is 40 hours per week, working over 4 or 5 days per week.
Responsibilities and Duties:- Assisting the Nursery Management in providing day to day high quality childcare.
- Leading a small team within the toddler room.
- Provide a positive learning environment that offers choice, experiences, independence and meets all the children's needs.
- Be able to have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning within the room.
- Ensuring a safe, secure and caring environment for the well-being of the children.
- Have room lead experience or be a senior practitioner with good experience.
- Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.
- Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.
- Be qualified at NNEB/NVQ level 3 or equivalent in childcare.
- Be able to work well and lead a small team.
