Nursery Room Leader & Floor Manager
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Room Leader and Senior Floor Manager to join our fabulous, independent outstanding rated children's day nursery and preschool.
You will be leading a team as a room leader or Senior Floor Manager dependent on experience) As Senior Floor Manager you would be managing 2 rooms across the floor and as a Room leader you would be in charge of the running of one room.
We look after our hardworking staff and will continuously invest in them to ensure they receive ongoing support, training, quarterly supervisions, annual appraisals, salary reviews and offer a career path with genuine long term growth and stability.
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated individuals with a real passion for developing young minds, who as well as bringing their own experiences to the nursery, are eager to develop their knowledge base with continued learning.
We are looking for someone who is keen to develop in their early years career with a fantastically supportive and friendly team. We have great training opportunities for people looking for long term career progression with a truly dedicated team of caring staff who are like one big family!
Working Pattern and Hours:
Days can be 4 or 5 per week, we are open 7.30-6pm, all year round.

- Have good leadership skills.
- Carry out planning, overseeing creative and fun opportunities according to children's needs and interests to fulfil the requirements of the EYFS.
- To develop good strong relationships and communication with children parents/carers.
- Working creatively with children so they develop, learn and grow.
- Ensuring all children have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.
Key skills:
- Must Hold a relevant Early Years qualification equivalent to Level 3 or above.
- Experience of working with the EYFS/Early years foundation stage.
- Experience of working with children in an early learning environment
- Good communications skills
- A team player
- Previous leadership experience is a bonus but not essential.
