Overview: Nursery Preschool Practitioner Term time. Must hold a Level 2 or 3 (or above) in Early years childcare. We are currently recruiting a Pre school Practitioner for our beautiful preschool just outside Dorking. We cater for children from 2-4 years with two dedicated classrooms. We are seeking individuals who can promote high quality care in a stimulating, rich learning environment which offers wonderful opportunities for all ages of children. Our Preschool is a warm, welcoming & fun place to work where all our staff work together as a team like one big family!

Responsibilities:- Provide a positive learning environment that offers choice, independence and a range of experiences, whilst meeting all of the children's needs.
- Be able to have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning.
- Ensuring a safe, secure and caring environment for the well-being of the children.
- Assisting the Nursery Management in all aspects of providing day to day high quality childcare.
- Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.
- Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.
- Be qualified to NVQ level 2 / 3 or equivalent (Higher) in Early years childcare.
- Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS - Early Years Foundation Stages.

We are a term time pre-school working 38 weeks per year. Hours are 8-5pm Monday to Friday. Initial 2 month contract with option for a full time contract thereafter.
