We are currently looking for a new Early Years Educator at our Pre-school in Epsom. The preschool has amazing resources and a friendly and supportive team. We are a small and friendly nursery preschool with a warm and welcoming feel. You will be joining a team of staff in our dedicated pre-school which consists of 2 classrooms for 2-3's and 3-4's. The role is 5 days per week, Monday - Friday. We are open 8am - 5pm during the school term. Staff work 41 weeks per year.
Responsibilities and Duties:- Assisting the Nursery Management in providing day-to-day high-quality childcare.
- Providing a positive learning environment that offers choice, experiences, independence and meets all the children's needs.
- Having key person responsibility and carrying out daily and individual planning within the room.
- Ensuring a safe, secure and caring environment for the well-being of the children.
- Have room lead experience or be a senior practitioner with good leadership experience.
- Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.
- Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.
- Be qualified at NNEB/NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent (higher +) in childcare.
- Be able to work well and lead a small team.
