Option of either Under 2's or Preschool. We are currently recruiting a Nursery Practitioner or Senior Practitioner to join either our Under 2's or our pre-school room at our beautiful, forward-thinking children’s day nursery and preschool just outside Guildford. We are seeking individuals who can promote high quality care in a stimulating, rich learning environment which offers wonderful opportunities for all ages of children from 6 months–5 years. Main responsibilities of the Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Nurse:
- Provide a positive learning environment that offers choice, independence and a range of experiences, whilst meeting all of the children's needs.
- Be able to have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning.
- Ensuring a safe, secure and caring environment for the well-being of the children.
- Assisting the Nursery Management in all aspects of providing day to day high quality childcare.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.
- Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.
- Be qualified to NVQ level 2 / 3 or equivalent in childcare (highly desirable).
- Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS - Early Years Foundation Stages.
