We are looking for a Nursery Manager to lead a team of highly-qualified friendly nursery staff at our beautiful nursery and Pre-school. You will play an integral part in leading the nursery, managing and training the staff team, liaising with parents and ensuring the smooth running of the business. This role is 40 hours per week to work during nursery opening hours Monday to Friday. We are open between 7.45am - 6pm. This can be over 4 or 5 days per week.
The nursery looks after children ranging from 12 months to 5 years and aims to create a safe, fun and stimulating environment through play and supporting the integrated approach to early learning and care. Our emphasis is to ensure the children in our care are learning in an engaging environment as well as being physically active by taking advantage of the stunning outside facilities.
Role ResponsibilitiesThe Nursery Manager is a key role that oversees the day-to-day running of the nursery in line with the statutory framework and aiming for Ofsted excellence. You will lead the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stages including overseeing the planning and record keeping. An enthusiastic and inspirational manager, your leadership style will motivate your staff team as well as ultimately ensuring the children are well looked after, content, stimulated and happy.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and previous experience of management and planning and supporting a nursery provision.
