The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Location: UK, flexible home, office, or hybrid working. UK offices: Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester and London.

Start date: Monday 4th May.

Please note that to be considered for this role, you must be based within 30 miles of one of our UK offices.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead bids from qualification through to submission, working across frameworks such as G-Cloud, DOS, TS4 and RM1043.
  • Translate tender requirements into clear, structured response plans and bring together input from product, design, engineering, data and commercial teams.
  • Manage timelines, compliance and quality assurance, ensuring submissions meet CCS and government procurement standards.
  • Develop winning themes and value propositions aligned to government priorities and buying behaviour.
  • Shape how bidding works long term by defining processes, templates and review stages, introducing tools and workflows, and building a reusable bid library of public-sector language, case studies and evidence.
  • Support public-sector sales operations in HubSpot, keeping pipeline data clean, tracking opportunities and supporting reporting.

  • There’s no inherited process to work around; you’ll build the bid function in a way that makes sense.

  • You’ll work closely with the Director of Public Sector, shaping pursuit strategy, go or no-go decisions and framework positioning.
  • As the public-sector capability grows, your role will grow with it, bringing increased influence and progression.

Who you’ll work with:

You’ll join a collaborative consultancy where product, delivery, design and sales teams work closely together. hedgehog lab designs and builds digital products and services for organisations solving complex problems, including public-sector bodies. You’ll be trusted as a specialist. Your input will shape decisions, not just documentation.

What we’re looking for – essential:

  • Proven experience managing bids within the UK public sector.
  • Strong knowledge of CCS frameworks such as G-Cloud, DOS or TS4.
  • Excellent organisation and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a clear focus on compliance and governance.
  • Experience supporting sales activity through a CRM.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and building processes.
