An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Technician - Fleet in Fleet Services in Newtown, Powys.

What you will be doing?

  • To service and repair Force vehicles to meet MOT and Dyfed Powys Police standards.
  • To fabricate and repair vehicles and install specialist electronic equipment to meet operational requirements.
  • To commission and decommission vehicles to ensure Fleet standards are met.
  • To implement fault investigation and undertake remedial action where appropriate to ensure the continued effectiveness of the Forces vehicle fleet.
  • To be available for special Force incidents (which will sometimes incur overtime) and provide support in all areas of transport.
