An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as an Investigation Support Officer.
We are looking for individuals who have good communication skills to deal with enquires from a variety of people, both via the telephone or electronic media and who also have the ability to accurately record and investigate reported incidents.
What you will be doing?
You will balance investigatory tasks relating to volume and priority crime, ASB and other reported matters, to provide a first-class response to the public, finalising the suitable outcomes.
You Will Be Required To
Assesses risk and identify the appropriate action to resolve or determine the appropriate agency, deployment grading and priority of contacts.
Inform the caller/reporter of the incident of the plan or outcome, ensuring highest standard of safeguarding and service.
Maintain high levels of customer service, manage customer expectations and meet national and organisational service level agreements and take appropriate response action.
Identify the purpose and nature of each contact by eliciting relevant and sufficient information to enable an accurate and timely assessment of appropriate means of resolution.
This role is a fixed location, based at a Dyfed-Powys Headquarters in Carmarthen. You will be required to work shifts which range between 7am to Midnight, 7 days a week)
Salary starts at £25,950 and rising to £27,204 over three years. Applicable allowances for shift and weekend working will be payable in addition to this.
