Our Ellington client are seeking a dedicated HGV technician to join their team!
Work Life:
- 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with the option for overtime when needed.
- A typical day from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Days or 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM Nights.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical defects on all vehicles and related ancillary equipment, replacing parts as and when necessary in line with Company and legislative requirements.
- Responsible for the mechanical and electrical repair, preventative maintenance and modification of the fleet.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is in peak condition.
- Collaborate with the team to keep operations running smoothly.
Requirements:
- Experience with HGV's particularly Skania Trucks.
- Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work.
