Our Huntingdon client are seeking a dedicated HGV technician to join their team!!

Are you ready to apply Make sure you understand all the responsibilities and tasks associated with this role before proceeding.

Work Life:

  • Monday to Friday shift pattern, with the option for overtime when needed.
  • A typical day from 06:00 AM – 15:00 PM or 07:00 AM – 16:00 PM
  • Working around 46- 50 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical defects on all vehicles and related ancillary equipment, replacing parts as and when necessary in line with Company and legislative requirements
  • Responsible for the mechanical and electrical repair, preventative maintenance and modification of the fleet.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is in peak condition.
  • Collaborate with the team to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements:

  • Experience with HGV\’s Trucks
  • Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work.
  • A can-do attitude with a commitment to excellence.
