Heckfield Place is a beautifully restored hotel on a 400-acre farm in the county of Hampshire, just outside of London. Heckfield Place is bound by the seasons, a place in which to reconnect and rediscover. The Bothy is a space where we attempt to slow time. A space for restoration, reflection and personal time.
We are currently looking for Waiter to join the Sun Room in our Bothy and Hearth Restaurant.
Position responsibilities include but aren\’t limited to:
- Engage positively and professionally with all guests and visitors to the Sun Room and Hearth.
- Be able to interact with sensible and suitable conversation.
- Prepare The Sun Room and Hearth for service including silver polishing, table-top preparations, mis-en-place tasks, linen handling and making sure to keep all areas clean.
- To prepare Teas/Coffee’s, fresh juices and smoothies daily when in the Sun Room.
- To be able to assemble food items following correct preparation methods obeying health and safety standards.
- To have a clear understanding of all menu items and preparation methods.
- Ensure all areas of the Sun Room are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
- Be knowledgeable of and assist in any other hotel area as and when business demands.
- Run The Sun Room with great organisation and demonstrate a can-do attitude and do some shifts in Hearth Restaurant.
- Working different shifts including weekends, some in the Sun rom and some in Heart Restaurant
