Heckfield Place is a beautifully restored Georgian family home located at the centre of 400 acres of Hampshire countryside, less than an hour from London. We re‑invented the classic hotel experience with a modern, natural approach and a focus on exceptional service.

We are looking for a Night Guest Assistant to join our friendly Front Office team. The role ensures that our guests receive the same “wow” experience during the night as during the day and that the team maintains exceptionally high standards of service delivery through awareness of guest preferences.

Responsibilities

• Effective communication and organisational skills
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service and anticipate guests’ needs
• Positive ‘can‑do’ attitude – proactive, decisive and extremely service oriented
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure, keep calm and act responsibly in cases of emergency
• Ensure all guest luggage is appropriately labelled and delivered or collected from the correct room as instructed by the Night Manager or Assistant Night Manager
• Serve food and drink to company standards and be aware of licensing laws and basic food hygiene
• Make every effort possible to exceed guest expectations, ascertaining as much information about our guests as possible and ensuring it is recorded in the PMS and Daily Memo
• Ensure the “Night Audit” is completed every night after checking that all guests are checked in and rates are accurate, and all necessary reports are prepared and distributed
