Elegantly evolving, resolutely natural, we’re a beautiful piece of English history that redefines the idea of a hotel. We are now looking for a Maintenance Support to join our lovely Engineering team. Responsibilities
- Carry out pre-arrival checks of hotel rooms, suites and cottages, ensuring all fixtures, fittings, and equipment are functioning correctly.
- Identify and resolve minor maintenance issues where possible, ensuring rooms are operational and safe for guest use.
- Check lighting, plumbing, heating, cooling and all electrical items are in full working order.
- Report any faults, damages, or larger Engineering requirements promptly to the Engineering Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Ensure any identified issues are logged clearly and followed up where required.
- Support general Engineering tasks across the property as directed by the Engineering management.
- Maintain a strong attention to detail to ensure all checks are thorough and consistent.
- Work efficiently under pressure, particularly during busy changeover periods, to meet operational deadlines.
- Work alongside other departments offering support as and when required.
- Be aware of duty of care and adhere to health and safety legislation, policies and procedures.
- Be familiar with property safety, first aid, fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly.
